Controller Position

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Tirebuck Recruitment. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. They will also possess excellent organizational and leadership skills, as well as strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the finance function. They will also be responsible for preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.

A key aspect of this role is salary planning and management, with a focus on attracting and retaining top talent. The annual salary range for this position is estimated at £53,750, based on industry standards and location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the finance function

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
