Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HR and Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR and Payroll functions, including managing employee queries, preparing HR documents, and administering payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the HR inbox and escalate queries as required
- Prioritize workload to ensure all tasks are completed on time
- Prepare HR documents, including offer letters, employment contracts, and absence review letters
- Ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information is provided for payroll
- Undertake pre-employment checks and update employee records
- Support the Associate Director of People with ER matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes
- Administrate weekly and monthly payroll processes
- Liaise with external accountants and prepare payroll reports and pay slips
- Previous HR admin experience preferred
- Excellent administrative and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle challenging conversations
- Understanding of employment law and its application
- Experience of providing advice on policy and process to line managers and employees
- Well-organized and able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team and key stakeholders
