Children's Social Care Professional

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Family Assessment and Support Team in Knaresborough.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and families in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Children's Social Worker, you will be responsible for undertaking duty tasks, including initial visits, child and family assessments, and supporting children under child in need plans and child protection plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake initial visits and child and family assessments
- Support children under child in need plans and child protection plans
- Chair meetings and review plans for children
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of service needs and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems
- Competent IT skills and ability to write clear and concise reports
- Dedicated and experienced consultants providing support throughout your job search
- Friendly compliance team to guide you through the registration and placement process
