Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to work with us on an adhoc basis in Mental Health Inpatient Wards within Cambridge and Peterborough. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to patients across Older Adult, Adult, and CAMHS inpatient wards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to patients in Mental Health Inpatient Wards
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care and medication management
  • Supporting patients with their physical and emotional needs
  • Contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Mental Health setting within the UK, ideally within the NHS
  • Ability to work adhoc shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and some nights
  • Flexibility to work across different wards and teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: £14.38 per hour (days), £15.00 per hour (nights/Sat), £16.00 per hour (Sunday/Bhol)
