Trade Sales Development Specialist

About this opportunity:
As a Trade Sales Development Specialist at B&Q, you will be responsible for driving business growth for our TradePoint division while delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary focus will be on developing a network of contacts to identify and develop new business opportunities and grow existing members.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in winning business, promoting products and services. Industry experience is beneficial but not essential. You will work closely with the stores to inspire, motivate and engage the wider store team to create a culture focused on identifying trade opportunities and delivering the needs of our trade members.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, relationship building abilities, negotiation skills, project management skills, problem solving skills, financial and business acumen, planning and organisational skills, and team working skills. A full UK driving license with over a year's driving experience is also required.
This role offers a competitive salary of £34,300 - £43,900 per annum, plus bonus, as well as a range of benefits including an award-winning pension scheme, ShareSave options, 6.6 weeks holiday, payroll giving, an Employee Assistance Programme, shopping discounts, colleague wellbeing benefits, and more.
