Cheadle, Staffordshire, United Kingdom Thales Full time
Employee Relations Specialist

Thales is a global business that relies on innovative solutions to make tomorrow's possible. We're looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our HR function, working across the full remit of ER case work with a focus on mid-range complexity/risk.

The Role

We're seeking a skilled ER Specialist who can work proactively across the business, anticipating and managing risks. You'll be a skilled communicator, able to coach and advise when needed, and an adept influencer who can effectively navigate ambiguity.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled at identifying, communicating, and managing risk, and will proactively seek 'win-win' outcomes for all parties. You'll work closely with colleagues to design and deliver training to mid-level people managers on ER policy and process.

This role requires the ability to effectively and clearly identify and mitigate risk, drawing on knowledge of relevant employment legislation to ensure legal compliance. You'll need to be able to prioritize work and case load effectively, taking a highly planned and organized approach to achieve best outcomes for individuals and the business.

About Thales

At Thales, we provide careers and not just jobs. With a global presence in 68 countries, our mobility policy enables employees to develop their careers at home and abroad, in their existing areas of expertise or by branching out into new fields. We believe in embracing flexibility as a smarter way of working.

Thales UK is committed to providing an inclusive and barrier-free recruitment process. We'll provide reasonable adjustments and support to ensure neuro-diverse applicants or those with a disability or long-term condition can be their best during the recruitment process.
