About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of up to 20 members of staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to deliver project objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to minimize their impact on the project.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure that their needs are met and that project objectives are achieved.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that financial reports are accurate and timely.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that all necessary quality assurance processes are followed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders. Demonstrable project management experience, with a strong understanding of project planning, risk management, and financial management.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, you will hold a recognized project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or Agile, or equivalent industrial experience.
