Job Overview

We're seeking a talented Actuarial Lead Analyst to join our team As a key member of our pricing and risk management department, you'll play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our pricing tools, collaborating with underwriting and actuarial SMEs to gather valuable input and feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • You'll work closely with the Head of Actuarial Analytics - Risk to develop, enhance, and recalibrate our cutting-edge pricing tools.
  • Support the development and fine-tuning of pricing algorithms across all classes, collaborating with underwriting and actuarial SMEs to gather valuable input and feedback.
  • Conduct thorough reviews, challenges, and documentation of all analytical work within the rating model hub.
  • Working with underwriting and actuarial teams, ensure models are effective and add value to the risk selection process, while co-managing the pricing governance process.
  • Partnering with group functions, deploy models into various pricing software platforms, with guidance from the Head of Actuarial Analytics - Risk.
  • Explore ways to enhance pricing analyses and support implementation alongside other teams.
  • Assist the Actuarial analytical engineering team in creating tools that boost the efficiency and value of the pricing model review process.
Beyond Pricing
  • You'll represent the Actuarial team in the Group's strategic initiatives related to pricing.
  • Supporting the Head of Actuarial Analytics in various projects as needed, gain a detailed understanding of each line of business within the relevant units.
  • Manage and mentor actuarial analysts.
Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement, and access to training and development opportunities.
