The Emerald Group is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst Lead to join their UK P&C Motor actuarial team. This role offers the opportunity to build tools of real value, develop market-leading analytics, and work in a dynamic and exciting team.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Assisting teams in client tenders by demonstrating technical advantages of analysis capabilities.
  2. Working with clients and reinsurers to explain findings supporting reinsurance placement processes.
  3. Managing more junior actuarial team members and developing their skills.


A successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • Qualified actuary with experience in the London Market.
  • Technical experience in pricing, reserving, or capital modelling.
  • Coding experience using Python, R, SQL, VBA, or comparable platforms.
