Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Team Leader to work with an independently run provider based in Norwich. Our client provides residential care for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in a small residential home.

The Role:

As a Team Leader, you would support in ensuring the promotion of the highest standard of care and to safeguard and support the development of all individuals. You would deputise for the Deputy Manager in their absence, lead the staff team, and support with the development of the team. You would also be part of the on-call team and work with the senior and group Managers to ensure compliance with all standards with CQC framework and any audit processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all care is being delivered to the individual's care plan and maintaining individuals support and care plans.
  2. General day-to-day duties of the house and maintain health and safety and infection control measures in place.
  3. Ensure independence is always fully promoted.
  4. Assisting individuals with meal preparations, and other living skills to promote independence.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working within care services.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in a health-related topic.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training.
  • A passion for supporting young adults and encouraging independence.
  • Good communicator with basic computer skills.
  • Excellent Commitment and reliability.
