About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Contracts Specialist to join our team in Prestwick. As a Construction Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of rail infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project costs, including preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and valuations
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and provide detailed progress reports
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks, ensuring profitability and value for money

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the rail or civil engineering sector
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
