We are looking for a Construction Commercial Advisor to join our team at First People Solutions.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in ensuring the financial and contractual success of civil and rail projects from tendering through to project completion.

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts.
  • Manage project budgets and prepare accurate cost forecasts.
  • Measure and value work completed on-site and ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with project teams to deliver cost-effective outcomes.
  2. Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
  3. Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
  4. Produce detailed reports on project performance and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Quantity Surveying within civil engineering, rail, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
