**Role Purpose**
To support the provision of a comprehensive and streamlined recruitment and resourcing service to the Prestwick site in line with the business plan and ensure the selection and employment of suitably qualified and talented people to meet all existing and projected workforce planning requirements.
**Recruitment Advisor - 9 months Fixed Term Contract**
**Salary: From £36,013 to £39,679**
This opportunity, based at our **Prestwick** site offers:
- 37 hour working week (half day Friday)
- Shift premiums up to 33%, where applicable
- Overtime at time and a half, where applicable

**Responsibilities**:
- To support line managers to understand and recognise their needs, priorities and job requirements in conjunction with outsourced recruitment service.
- Support the recruitment process including providing a clear recruitment plan, identifying recruitment methodologies, identifying critical requirements, conducting interviews and assessments, initiating employment contracts and other recruitment & new start correspondence as directed.
- Develop creative resourcing solutions to attract the very best talent, implementing best practice procedures and systems.
- Forge alliances with recruitment agencies, search consultants and universities to proactively source the best talent.
- Co-ordinate recruitment campaigns, assisting in the development of employer branding in all markets.
- Design, coordinate and place appropriate advertisements in relevant media sources, negotiate fees as appropriate.
- Coordinate graduate and apprentice recruitment programmes as required.
- Ensure all relevant certification and qualification requirements are validated.
- Ensure company induction is scheduled for all new starts.
- Participate in and support selection skills training and best practice recruitment awareness presentations to line managers as required.
- To undertake continuous improvement activities in relation to the recruitment service to achieve overall efficiencies.

Qualifications:
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge and understanding of best practice recruitment methodologies and processes.
- Understanding of employment legislation.
- Full or part CIPD qualified or equivalent is desirable.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to advise and influence managers on best practice recruitment.
- Computer literate (experience of MS packages & HR information systems).
- Occupational Testing administration and feedback is desirable.
- Experience of in-house recruitment at all levels including scarce skills.
- Management of third party stakeholders including agencies, media, search consultants etc.
- Strong customer focus.
- High level communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, flexible attitude.
**Decision Making Authority**
- Works with mínimal supervision, within reasonably defined processes, may refer to more senior team members for very complex or sensitive matters, or where there are significant financial implications or implications for business strategy.
- Will make decisions within scope of expertise.
- Complex or sensitive matters, or decisions with significant resource implications or impacting business strategy will be referred to a more senior manager.
