Primary Care Physician Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Practitioner to join our team at The Bay Medical Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the health and well-being of our entitled population.
- Provide services in accordance with the General Medical Services (GMS) contract, adhering to local and national guidelines.
- Manage long-term conditions effectively, utilizing evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- Process administrative tasks efficiently, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, and other associated duties.
- Participate in telephone triage and duty doctor roles on a rotational basis, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the practice team, accepting an equal share of the workload and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and audit processes, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice.
- Accept delegated responsibility for specific areas of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).
- Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the practice, including clinical governance and training.
- Ensure compliance with the appraisal process, maintaining a high level of professional development.
- Prepare and complete the revalidation process, demonstrating ongoing commitment to professional excellence.
- Commit to ongoing learning and development, instilling a culture of continuous professional growth within the practice.
- Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines, fostering a culture of education and mentorship.
- Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, providing recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure.
- Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies, ensuring a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
