Primary Care Physician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at The Bay Medical Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality medical care to our patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Provide services commensurate with our practice's contract, including generic prescribing and effective management of long-term conditions.
- Process administrative tasks in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, and other associated tasks.
- Participate in telephone triage and duty doctor roles on a rotational basis.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to good practice, policy, and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with the practice team, accepting an equal share of the workload.
- Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice.
- Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).
- Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the practice, including clinical governance and training.
- Ensure compliance with the appraisal process.
- Prepare and complete the revalidation process.
- Commit to self-learning and instill an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team.
- Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines.
- Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure.
- Review and adhere to practice protocols and policies.
- Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
