Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced KS2 teacher to join our team at an outstanding school in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class in a year group suited to their interests and experience, and will work closely with academy-based and county mentors to ensure individual needs are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Teach a class in a year group that aligns with your expertise and the school's needs.
  • Work within a philosophical framework that supports and enhances the school's ethos and climate.
  • Deliver a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum for all children, adhering to statutory obligations and school policies.
  • Employ a variety of teaching styles to enhance and facilitate a learning environment.
  • Collaborate with mentors to ensure individual needs are met and attend regular meetings.
  • Review teaching methods and practice to ensure high standards.
  • Participate in in-service training and implement your professional development plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Evidence of recent and relevant professional development.
  • Knowledge of current theory and best practice in learning and teaching.
  • Understanding of diverse teaching and learning styles.
  • Good understanding of the importance of culture and ethos.

Location: This school is based in Cambridge, close to public transport, with parking available on site.
