About the Role:

We are looking for someone to assist the shop manager in running the shop, covering their days off and holidays. As a Relief Assistant Shop Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the daily operations of the shop in the absence of the shop manager.
  • Achieving income targets by maximizing sales and donations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to donors and customers.
  • Leading by example and supporting volunteers to accept, sort, price, steam, and display goods for sale.
  • Effectively leading the shop volunteers and respectfully supporting their tasks and commitments.
  • Developing a positive team spirit and promoting the work of the Hospice.

Requirements:

No retail experience is required, as we can train you. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
