About the Role
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Officer to join our Special Care and Community Dental Service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing routine dental care to patients with specific requirements, including those with behavioral challenges, using behavioral techniques, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide dental care to patients with specific requirements, using behavioral techniques, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia, as appropriate.
- Liaise with social and healthcare personnel and agencies to ensure effective management and delivery of care to patients with specific requirements.
- Deliver a domiciliary dental service to patients who require it.
- Provide emergency and urgent care, identified through the Dental Direct triage process.
- Work in a variety of locations within the defined localities of Allerdale and Copeland.
