About the Role
The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate clinician to join our Special Care and Community Dental Service team. As a Dental Officer, you will be responsible for providing routine dental care to patients with specific requirements, using behavioral techniques, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia if within your competencies.
Main Duties
- Provide dental care to patients with specific requirements using behavioral techniques, conscious sedation, or general anesthesia if within competencies.
- Provide emergency and urgent care identified through the Dental Direct triage process.
- Liaise with a range of social and other healthcare personnel and agencies to ensure the effective management of and delivery of care to patients with specific requirements.
- Involved with the delivery of a domiciliary dental service to patients who may require such service.
- Deliver care, as required, in a variety of locations within the defined localities of Allerdale and Copeland.
