Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of store colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager, taking ownership of the store and leading by example to support your colleagues.
  • Lead and inspire the team to fulfill their potential every day using our Leadership & Company Principles.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and improve store profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety laws, standards, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, cash handling, and customer service.
