Finance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our EMEA Billing Department at Infor in Solihull. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoices issued to our customers.

The EMEA Billing team is responsible for managing a complex invoicing process that spans multiple countries, languages, and currencies. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our Shared Service Centre in India to audit and verify invoices, ensuring that they are accurate and compliant with customer contracts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, including auditing and formatting final invoices for electronic dispatch to customers.
  • Billing Inquiries and Disputes: Address and resolve billing inquiries and disputes from internal customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing proactive support and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, working closely with internal business units to achieve shared goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist with billing KPI reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and participating in projects related to billing process improvements and system upgrades.

  • Attention to Detail: Possess a strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Excel and other relevant software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak a foreign language is not essential, but highly desirable.
