Role Summary:
As the Lead Risk Implementation Specialist, you will oversee the deployment, evaluation, and upkeep of credit risk strategies within our Decision Systems and operational frameworks, collaborating closely with the appropriate Risk teams. This position also entails supporting various business initiatives, including the introduction of innovative products, modifications in Credit Bureau reporting, and adherence to FCA and other regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive expertise in our decision system engines, their functionalities, and governance.
- Execute modifications within our multi-bureau hub, which includes gathering requirements, managing interactions with credit reference agencies, development, testing, implementation, post-implementation monitoring, communication, and documentation.
- Implement application and scoring strategies/policies within our decision engine systems, specifically Scorecard Admin, Diligense, and Catalyst systems. This process encompasses analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, post-implementation monitoring, communication, and documentation.
- Maintain the validation of exception reports for monitoring decision engines.
- Ensure that relevant control and governance measures are consistently applied throughout all changes made to the system.
- Guarantee the operational integrity of connections to Credit Bureaus. In the event of anticipated or actual issues, coordinate with internal IT and the Credit Bureau to ensure swift resolution, minimizing impact on consumers and the business.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to independently code in at least one programming language, such as SAS or SQL
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Understanding of risk decision systems
- Familiarity with Credit Bureau data
- Hands-on experience with Decision Systems like Probe, Strategy Manager, StrategyWare, Triad, NBSM
- Experience working with Credit Bureau data and services
