About the Role

Priory Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and coordinate the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services.
  2. Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritize patient needs.
  3. Plan and deliver appropriate and relevant interventions, either on an individual or group basis.
  4. Ensure the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.
  5. Maintain and develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.
  6. Contribute to business growth by actively promoting Priory therapy services.
  7. Lead on the implementation of new services within your site, sharing best practice with other sites in the area.

Requirements

  • Hold a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership and HPC registration.
  • Experience of working within the specialized area, including experience of working with patients with enduring mental illness.
  • Additional expertise such as DBT and CBT for Psychosis would be advantageous.
