We believe that all behaviour has a purpose, and our team uses a range of strategies to support young people to learn to self-regulate and develop skills. By assessing the functions of behaviours that challenge, we can develop individualised, person-centred strategies and interventions that proactively meet the young person\u2019s needs.
Our PBS Plan is a proactive, active, and reactive support framework that is written and regularly reviewed by our team of PBS Learning Specialists. We work closely with staff and parents to ensure that strategies are carefully considered and implemented.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our PBS team as a Positive Behaviour Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with young people to develop and implement PBS Plans, and provide support and guidance to staff and parents.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing PBS Plans that meet the individual needs of young people
- Providing support and guidance to staff and parents on PBS strategies and interventions
- Working closely with the PBS Learning Specialists to review and update PBS Plans
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure a holistic approach to supporting young people
