About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at the Thamesmead clinic, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of care programs for renal patients and performing patient assessments throughout treatment
- Undertaking the role of Nurse in Charge and deputising for the clinic manager as needed
- Preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems according to Diaverum processes
- Reviewing pre and post-haemodialysis care with patients
- Participating in quality and service improvement programs
Requirements:
- NMC Registered General Nurse qualification
- Strong experience in a renal dialysis setting (2+ years)
- Awareness and understanding of the NMC code of professional conduct
- In possession of, or working towards, a post-registration clinical course in Renal Nursing (ENB 136 or equivalent)
