About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at Selwood. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 1 HGV with a lorry loader, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class 1 HGV with a lorry loader, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the management team.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate and secure positioning of loads.
  • Participate in on-call rota and respond to ad-hoc requests as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure seamless delivery of goods.
Essential Qualifications
  • Full UK HGV Category C+E Licence (Class 1 License).
  • ALLMI and Tacho cards are required for this role.
  • Over 21 years of age (for insurance purposes).
  • HIAB/ALLMI qualification.
  • CPC/DQC (Desirable but not essential).
  • Counter-balance Forklift Licence (Desirable but not essential).
