About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at Selwood. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle with a HIAB/ALLMI qualified lorry loader, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading of goods.
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, including tachograph operation and drivers' hours' regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the management team.
  • Participate in on-call rota and be available for ad-hoc call-outs as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure smooth delivery of goods and services.

Essential Qualifications

  • Full UK HGV Category C+E Licence (Class 1 License).
  • ALLMI and Tacho cards are required for this role.
  • Over 21 years of age (for insurance purposes).
  • HIAB/ALLMI qualification.
  • CPC/DQC (Desirable but not essential).
  • Counter-balance Forklift Licence (Desirable but not essential).
