Job Title: Band 7 Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to lead and provide clinical input in our In-Patient Community Beds setting at Isebrook Hospital.

Main Duties:
  • To complete initial and ongoing patient assessments, support patients to identify SMART goals, utilise clinical outcome measures, and develop, deliver, and progress bespoke treatment plans.
  • To work collaboratively within the team and with external providers to enable patients to work towards goals relevant to the in-patient community hospital setting.
  • To demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process, evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment, and make autonomous and accountable decisions in Occupational Therapy practice.
  • To provide leadership, education, and support to other team members through promotion of innovative strategies to manage change and improve service delivery.
Person Specification:
  • BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
  • Active registration with the Health Care Professions Council.
  • Evidence of CPD and clinical skills relevant to the areas of Stroke and rehabilitation.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Evidence of being a supervisor, student mentor/clinical educator.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to patients in our In-Patient Community Beds setting.

The salary for this role is £38,910 - £44,780 per annum, depending on experience.
