Job Overview

This is a Security Officer position at 2 Sisters Food Group, one of the UK's leading food manufacturers. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment within our operations.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the gate and reception area, ensuring accurate booking of deliveries, collections, staff, and visitors. You will also monitor activities, overseeing alarm systems and weighing vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the gate and reception area, ensuring accurate booking of deliveries, collections, staff, and visitors.
  • Monitor activities, overseeing alarm systems and weighing vehicles.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for the core security team, planning ahead to ensure shifts are covered as scheduled.
  • Maintain a rota to avoid double-booked holidays and absences, ensuring reasonable and manageable arrangements.
  • Operate computers to log information accurately.
  • Operate the CCTV system.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A driven and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A good level of spoken and written English.
  • The ability to undertake first aid training and serve as a designated first aider.
  • Training on CCTV operation and compliance will also be provided.
