About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to expectant mothers and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of women, partners, families, and carers
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate standards of midwifery care
  • Provide full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening
  • Identify high-risk pregnancies

Person Specification
  • A minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years
  • Statement of NMC Registration
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing
  • Copy of Neonatal Rhesus and CTG training certificates
