Plymouth, Plymouth, United Kingdom NHS Professionals Limited Full time
Job Title: Registered Midwife

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the needs of women, partners, families, and carers, and providing evidence-based midwifery care. This will include planning, delivering, and evaluating standards of care, as well as providing full antenatal care, including parenting classes, clinical examinations, and screening.

You will also be responsible for identifying high-risk pregnancies and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies.

What We Offer:

As a midwife with NHS Professionals, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including our client Trusts in England. You will have access to flexible shift patterns, including earlies, mids, and nights, as well as the ability to develop professionally and gain experience in several wards or areas.

We also offer a range of benefits, including weekly pay, Blue Light Card, and first choice of shifts/placements at the Trust of your choice over agencies. Our team is always happy to help, and we offer training and development opportunities via the Trust and NHSP's own academy.

Person Specification:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 12 months paid experience as a Midwife within the last 2 years, as well as a Statement of NMC Registration and a Degree/Diploma in Nursing. You will also need to have Neonatal Rhesus and CTG training certificates.

We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, and we welcome applications from candidates who share our values and are passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients.
