Job Title: Interim Chief Executive Officer

We are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Executive Officer to lead our independent charity, the Jurassic Coast Trust, through the next stages of our five-year strategy, the 'Partnership Plan' (2020-2025).

About the Role

The successful candidate will bring substantial operational and strategic expertise, ideally with experience in the environmental and conservation sectors. Familiarity with managing multiple stakeholders in the heritage sector is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a robust operational strategy aligned with income generation, sustainability, and growth.
  • Oversee governance and operational delivery, managing the internal team effectively.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to secure the long-term sustainability of the Trust.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees, partners, and donors.
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Trust, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in achieving fundraising objectives from diverse sources.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small charity environment with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in the environmental and conservation sectors, with a strong understanding of the heritage sector.
