Job Opportunity

A leading Specialist Insurance Company, Cavendish Maine, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Underwriter to support the growth and development of their Commercial Underwriting team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in underwriting larger and more complex property and liability risks, working closely with the Head of Underwriting and the Underwriting team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver new business and renewal growth plans by focusing on larger and more complex Property and Liability risks that fall outside the existing Underwriting model.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers and the Underwriting team to grow and manage broker relations.
  • Support the Head of Underwriting with governance, insurer relations, training, and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Commercial Property or Liability underwriting.
  • In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
