About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Teacher to join our team as a Home Tutor. This is a unique opportunity to work with a student who requires one-to-one support due to a medical condition.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sensory activities and building a strong rapport with the student. The tuition will take place in the student's home and occasionally in the local hospital, with a focus on three sessions per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging sensory activities tailored to the student's needs.
  • Build a strong and supportive relationship with the student.
  • Monitor and report on the student's progress.
  • Collaborate with the student's healthcare team as needed.
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong ability to engage and motivate reluctant learners.
  • Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Driving license (preferred).
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one.
