Job Title: Academic Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at MERJE Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse loan book and working closely with our Managing Director and Financial Controller to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement procedures to effectively monitor and communicate with borrowers regarding overdue payments.
  2. Manage timely payments of loan interest and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  3. Collaborate with solicitors and professionals to effectively manage the loan recovery process.
  4. Utilize loan book management software to monitor and manage loans.
  5. Work with estate agents to manage property-related tasks.
  6. Ensure files are up-to-date with the latest correspondence.
  7. Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
  1. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  2. Excellent written and communication skills.
  3. Ability to build professional relationships with stakeholders.
  4. Confident and proactive approach.
  5. Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
