We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our students receive the highest quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences, working closely with our back of house team.
- Manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
- Establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty, promoting our services and building trust.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency, driving business success.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent financial management skills, with the ability to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Meticulous organizational abilities and a high attention to detail.
