About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team in Norwich. As a Senior Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing proposals, producing and negotiating project-specific designer agreements, and ensuring the project design is reviewed and mitigating Health & Safety issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the design process from concept to completion.
  2. Develop and implement design strategies to meet project requirements.
  3. Lead a team of designers to deliver high-quality designs.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet project objectives.
  5. Monitor and control design costs and timelines.
  6. Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Design Manager in a main contractor environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
