Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Hadland Care Group.

The nursery provides an ideal environment for children aged 3 months to school age, catering to their unique needs and developmental stages.

Nurturing Children's Development

Nurturing is essential for children's growth, enabling them to develop physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, culturally, and spiritually.

We provide real experiences with purpose and outcomes, allowing children to feel a sense of accomplishment.

Independence is encouraged, creativity is allowed to flourish, and natural inquisitiveness is embraced.

Each child is an individual with unique ideas and interests, which we use as the starting point for our shared experiences.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Caring for and supporting children through learning and play.
  • Providing all aspects of personal care, including nappy changing, bottle feeding, and potty training.
  • Playing with and supporting toddlers, preparing pre-school children for school readiness.
  • Following the curriculum and supporting children emotionally and physically.
  • Liaising with parents and being involved in parent evenings.
  • Dealing with special needs and supporting key members of the team.
  • Planning and observing, completing paperwork, and monitoring health and safety.

Requirements

  • A clear DBS check is required.
  • You must have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
  • A good standard of English spoken and written is essential.

Working Hours

  • The nursery is open from 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday.
  • The successful candidate will work a minimum of 35 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.

The estimated salary for this position is £19,000 - £23,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
