Job Title: Play Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Play Leader to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Play Leader, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging children's activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young participants, and working collaboratively with our team to achieve our mission of improving wellbeing through accessible services.

About the Role:
  • Designated Safeguarding Officer: Ensure suitable child protection training is sourced and delivered to staff, and that there is always a suitably trained safeguarding officer on site at all times.
  • Accountable for all children and employees within the setting, ensuring that agreed child: staff ratios are always met.
  • Effective communication with key stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and Ofsted.
  • Undertake appropriate training and adhere to company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure all children have a designated key worker and a personal file.
  • Administering first aid when necessary and ensuring all records of accidents and incidents are correctly logged, stored, and monitored.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 or above Childcare/Play work relevant Qualification.
  • Food Hygiene certificate, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding Children qualifications desirable.
