About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is on a mission to improve the educational journey of vulnerable young people in the UK. We are looking for a skilled Teaching Outreach Professional to join our team and make a real difference in their lives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on children's lives. As a Teaching Outreach Professional, you will provide 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS1 - KS4 in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, planning, and delivering customized learning plans that cater to the needs of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. You will also be required to work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective strategies to support these young people.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered or be willing to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references

Salary and Contract Details:

The salary for this role is £22 per hour. The contract details include location within the community or pupils' home in Surrey, part-time or full-time options, and flexible timings.
