Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider serving a diverse population of 250,000 people across Tameside & Glossop. We are currently seeking an Acute Care Outreach Professional to join our Critical Care Outreach Team.
About the RoleAs an Acute Care Outreach Professional, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating discharges from Critical Care to the wards.
- Providing clinical training to ward staff.
- Acting as role models and mentors for ward staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need recent experience in critical care or an acute/emergency care background, with a strong focus on clinical decision-making and leadership skills. A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject is required, and prior experience in teaching or mentoring is highly desirable.
We offer a competitive salary of £43,056 - £72,719 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, 27-33 days annual leave, sick pay, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
