About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Health, Safety & Environment Manager at Müller UK & Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience in EHS management and be able to lead our EHS strategies, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and promoting a positive safety culture across the site.

This role involves developing and implementing EHS strategies to improve standards and promote a developing safety culture, as well as managing risk assessment, safe systems of work, and COSHH processes throughout the site.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Managing claims handling processes and maintaining legal permits required by the site.
  • Auditing the business' HSE MS and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Carrying out audits of statutory requirements with key stakeholders.
  • Supporting the STAR system implementation and maintenance.
  • Investigating accidents and near misses, acting as SME.
  • Developing and implementing contractor systems and RCS.
  • Ensuring colleagues' compliance and awareness of their roles and responsibilities.
  • C​oaching colleagues on audits, RA, STAR, investigations, and PMS principles.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits including 33 days annual leave, company car/car allowance, and up to 15% annual bonus paid annually.
