Amazon Inventory Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Instock Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in driving selection and in-stock for Amazon UK Fresh programs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for executing inventory strategies to optimize customer experience, sales, margin, and turns. They will be focused on delivering high in-stock rates to meet the needs of our customers, while also identifying opportunities to improve tools and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective inventory management strategies to optimize sales, turns, and inventory health
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as in-stock rate, procurement lead time, fill rate, forecast accuracy, and turns
- Forecast and manage efficient inbound and outbound inventory flows and health, including forecasting, purchasing, and removing unproductive inventory
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and procurement workflows
- Drive root cause analysis and develop action plans to improve operational issues
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Planning, or Inventory Management or equivalent experience
- Advanced analytical skills with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions
- Excellent business judgement, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
