Experienced Mechanic for Vehicle Maintenance

NXT Recruitment LTD seeks an experienced mechanic to work as a HGV Repair and Maintenance Specialist.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they are in optimal condition and meet all necessary safety standards.
Responsibilities:- Servicing, mechanical and electrical repairs, and preventative maintenance to customer vehicles.
- Utilizing diagnostic tools to identify and rectify issues.
- Communication with internal stakeholders and external customers daily.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology, DVSA inspection standards, changes in MOT legislation, and working practices.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A valid UK driving licence.
- Overtime rates paid at 1.5x or 2x basic rate.
- An on-call allowance of £100 per week.
- Access to life insurance and training and development support.
The estimated salary for this position is around £48,000 per annum, considering the location and industry standards.
