Heavy Vehicle Technician

Wm. Armstrong (Longtown) Limited is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join their team at the Armstrong Vehicle Centre in Longtown.
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform mechanical and electrical repairs, maintenance, and servicing of a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, commercial vehicles, and trailers.
The job entails working a standard 42.5-hour week with set shifts, as well as participating in an on-call system outside of regular working hours.
About the Role:- Detailed diagnostics and thorough inspections to guarantee vehicle repairs meet all applicable regulations and company standards.
- Maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of vehicles.
- Promoting exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Applicants should possess relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering and have prior experience in a similar position.
Good communication and problem-solving skills are also necessary, along with a valid UK driving license, preferably with Class 1 or Class 2 certification.
The expected annual salary for this HV Technician position is around £48,000 - £58,000, depending on the location and market conditions.
