About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ophthalmology Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at Practice Plus Group Hospital, Emerson's Green and Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes. As a Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a world-class service, bringing your expertise and skills in ophthalmology procedures to the team.
Main Responsibilities
As a Consultant, you will be responsible for performing a range of ophthalmology procedures on patients referred to both services, working in accordance with existing protocols and working practices. You will also be required to demonstrate a high level of skill in the operative and non-operative aspects of the management and assessment of various areas, including Slit-Lamp examination, Gonioscopy, Fundoscopy, Tonometry, and Refraction.
Person Specification
We are looking for a GMC-registered medical professional with a listing on the Specialist GMC register. You will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing CPD and career development. In return, we offer a competitive salary of up to 149,995, depending on experience, plus a performance-related incentive scheme. We also offer a generous relocation package for those not already in the local area.
