Mobile General Assistant

In your role as a Sodexo Mobile General Assistant, you will support the efficient operation of a busy food and beverage business. Your key responsibilities will include showcasing kitchen items in a visually appealing way, ensuring the kitchen and serving areas are always stocked, clean and hygienic, and supporting the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
You will also be responsible for observing food handling and hygiene regulations, following health and safety guidelines, and ensuring all machines and equipment are operated correctly. Additionally, you will uphold the reputation of the company at all times.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
- Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic always.
- Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
- Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
- Always uphold the reputation of the company.
Your Skills and Experience
- Have a great sense of teamwork.
- Show that you can adopt a dedicated and orderly approach.
- Show that you can prioritise your work, handle pressure, and communicate well at all levels.
- Show impeccable punctuality and dependability.
- Experience in a similar environment (helpful but not a deal breaker).
- Full UK Driving Licence required for this position and own vehicle required for this role as travel to a different site each day may be required.

Package Description
- £ ; per hour
- 20 hours per week
- Working pattern: Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm
- Term Time only (39 week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks)
- This position requires and Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE REIMBURSED Retention BONUS for all attached mobile roles – £200 on successful completion of 12 week probation, further £300 after 52 weeks complete employment in role.
Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
