Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on new challenges and contribute to the delivery of complex construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. With a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, this role is ideal for a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to drive success in construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting technical drawings and negotiating with sub-contractors
  • Producing quotations and managing project costs
  • Mitigating risk and working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality results
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, and providing regular updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify and mitigate risks, and develop and implement solutions to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • A minimum of [£60,000 - £80,000] per annum, depending on experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of the construction market sector, including industry processes, materials, and costs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
