Job Summary

Christ's College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Stewardship and Legacies Officer. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships with philanthropic donors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy to ensure that donors feel valued and informed of the impact of their giving.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, including those who have indicated a bequest to the College in their will.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the College's senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, public-facing role, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • A passion for building relationships and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
