Job Overview

Taiko, a leading manufacturer of Sushi, Food To Go, Prepared Meals and Snacking products in the UK, is seeking a skilled Specification Technologist to ensure the safety and compliance of its products and packaging.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage specifications for raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials to ensure accuracy and legality.
  • Source and maintain specifications for ingredients, raw materials, and packaging used by Taiko Foods.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate product development and labelling operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly website management systems.
